Here, you'll find a ton of information about fabric stores, crafty folks and sewing education located in and around Los Angeles. There are helpful links for whatever your level of expertise is - from the beginning sewer up to the most knowledgeable artisan. Find out where the hot spots are and bring along your sewing!

In the CLASSES section, there are class listings, events and contact information for private instruction in addition to a list of fabric stores that offer classes. So it's time to get busy! If you have been wanting to learn, there's no better time to get started. Besides being a repository of information, Sewing in L.A. has a couple of goals:
1. Education for everyone who desires it, regardless of economic background.
2. Getting kids interested in sewing again (already on an upswing!).
3. Combining education with outreach that benefits many areas in Los Angeles.
